The department provides law enforcement services for the city of Glendale. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting, crime prevention, law enforcement complaints, municipal police, and temporary restraining order assistance services. The service area is restricted to the city of Glendale.
Temporary restraining order assistance is provided on a short term (72 hrs.), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location.

Application Procedure
In an emergency, call 9-1-1. Call or walk in for non-emergency services or for information. For copies of reports ID is required; reports are typically filed 5 working days after the incident was investigated.
