Disability Related Center Based Employment

The agency provides services for people with developmental disabilities, age 18 and older, who have mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism and other neurological conditions. Services include disability related center based employment, English as a second language, independent livings skills instruction, physical fitness, and recreational/leisure/arts instruction. Transportation may be arranged through Regional Center. There are no geographic restrictions.

Instruction offered includes cooking, grooming, music, gardening, animal care, ceramics, money management, art, physical fitness, communication, swimming, ESL (Spanish, English), computers and integrated community services, supported employment and independent living skills.

The Nexus Program supports young adults on their career path through post secondary education and career practicum opportunities.

The Community Integration Program provides job placement and on-going job training/community access skills training for adults with developmental disabilities in their home communities. The Home and Community Training Program provides independent living skills training one-on-one with disabled adults in their own homes/home communities.
