The agency provides mental health services for families with youth ages five through 21 and their families in the Long Beach/South Bay area. Services include individual and group counseling, case management, behavior modification, crisis intervention, medication management, psychological testing, and intensive support services. The agency is predominantly field based, 80% of the services are provided in the home, school, or the community.

The Full Service Partnership (FSP) Program provides intensive outpatient services for youth ages 5 to 18, who have a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The program includes individual/family therapy, psychiatric services, 24/7 crisis services, case management support for the child/family, parent support, and behavioral support for the client and family.

Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) provides short-term, one-on-one intensive services to help youth maintain the lowest possible levels of care. Staff work with the child's family and other mental health providers. Therapeutic Support Services (TSS) is a similar service for the developmentally disabled child or adult.

Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) services help youth that have experienced abuse or trauma, including victims of crime. The program includes therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy, parent involvement and positive parenting, and Aggression Replacement Training (ART) a group modality which helps children and adolescents develop social skills, decrease anger outbursts and teach moral reasoning skills.

In addition, rehabilitation and transitional services are available to assist with emotional, social, and recreational needs. Topics for elementary school children include goals and culture, self esteem, peer issues, and school experiences; topics for older children include problem solving, cultural awareness, conflict resolution, stress management, and organizational skills.

The Wraparound program is a family focused service designed to help youth and families involved with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The goal is to provide permanency, safety and wellbeing to youth with open DCFS cases whose placements are in jeopardy. Services are provided by a multidisciplinary team consisting of parent partners, child and family specialists and facilitators. The wraparound approach provides formal support through linkages to community resources and informal support to help the family to transition to independence.

The agency also provides services under the State's Victims of Crime (VOC) program for those clients who have been the victim or witness of a crime within the past year.
