Recreational/Leisure/Arts Instruction (Older Adults)

  The agency provides services for older adults, age 50 and older, in Los Angeles County. Services include congregate meals, and recreational/leisure/arts instruction. There are no geographic restrictions.

  Congregate meals services includes a hot lunch program for seniors age 60 and older and is provided by St. Barnabas - Senior Nutrition Program (see separate entry for more details).

    The center also offers bingo, exercise classes, day trips, bridge, pool table, knitting, performance workshop, yoga, karaoke, sing-alongs. The agency also sponsors various seasonal and holiday activities.

Fees
There are fees for some activities and for the trips. Annual membership is $12. The suggested donation for the congregate meal is $2.00 for seniors and $4.00 for non-seniors; however, no one is denied service because of inability to pay.
