Ongoing Emergency Food Assistance

  The program provides emergency food for low-income people of all ages who live in the Greater El Monte area including South El Monte, La Puente, Baldwin Park and Rosemead. Services include an ongoing food program. Services are restricted to residents of El Monte, South El Monte, La Puente, Baldwin Park and Rosemead.  

  The program provides two bags of groceries that typically consists of staples such as rice, beans, milk and fresh produce, but varies according to availability. People can be assisted once a week; people in crisis from outside the service area will be served one time only and given a referral in their area.
