Child Abuse Counseling

The agency provides counseling services for youth age 5 to 18 and their families who live in Los Angeles County. Services include adolescent/youth counseling, case/care management for at risk families, child abuse counseling, child abuse counseling for child abusers, juvenile delinquency diversion counseling, parenting skills classes, and sexual assualt counseling for children. Age restrictions apply for some services; there are geographic restrictions for some programs.
Services include group counseling in local schools; and a program which assists teens who are pregnant or who are already parents.
Family-based juvenile diversion programs provide an atmosphere in which family communication is encouraged. Family counseling, group counseling and juvenile delinquency diversion counseling are provided.

Application Procedure
Call the administrative number to arrange an appointment for services. People may also call the branch offices directly if the locations are more convenient.
Fees
Fees are on a sliding scale from $0 to $75 per session, based on the family's income and size. There are no fees for clients already enrolled in other agency programs.
