Provider: CITY OF CULVER CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT

The department provides law enforcement services for the city of Culver City. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting, adult fingerprinting, animal control, animal rescue, crime prevention, cruelty to animal investigation, dead animal pick-up, emergency protective orders, law enforcement complaints, municipal police, neighborhood watch programs, police reports and temporary restraining orders services. The service area is restricted to the city of Culver City.

Livescan fingerprinting is available for adult employment and citizenship/immigration identification and background checks.

Temporary restraining order assistance is provided on a short term (72 hrs.), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location. Animal Services provides animal control, investigation of animal cruelty reports, rescue animals in distress and dead animal pick-up. For immediate or emergency field services during regular business hours, call the Culver City Non-Emergency Police line, during non-business hours for immediate or emergency field services the call is redirected to the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.
