Subject Specific Public Awareness/Education

Provider: CALIFORNIA STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES - ADMINISTRATION - CALHOPE WARM LINE

The program provides counseling services to people in Los Angeles County. Services include, peer to peer networking, subject specific public awareness/education of mental health issues for youth and parents, talklines/warmlines, and telemental health services. There are no geographic restrictions.

The California HOPE (CalHOPE) warm line provides crisis support. Peer counselors are available to offer emotional support and coping tips for people struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, and emotions triggered by circumstances and events in everyday life.

The Brightline Kids and Soluna mobile app programs provide supplemental health, peer-peer networking, Subject Specific Public Awareness/Education, specialized information, and referral services for mental health issues.
