Sanitary Landfills
Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICT - SCHOLL CANYON LANDFILL
This is a landfill site for disposal of non-hazardous municipal solid waste, including refuse, paper, grass, lumber, cans, and other substances by public, private, industrial, and governmental agencies and by individuals. This landfill serves Los Angeles County incorporated cities of Glendale, La Canada-Flintridge, Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino and Sierra Madre; Los Angeles County unincorporated communities including Altadena, La Crescenta and Montrose; the unincorporated area bordered by the cities of San Gabriel, Rosemead, Temple City, Arcadia and Pasadena; and the unincorporated area immediately to the north of the City of San Marino bordered by the City of Pasadena on the west, north and east sides only. Geographic restrictions apply.
Clean dirt is accepted for a fee; however, the site cannot accept clean dirt in bottom dump trucks, it will only accept dirt in end dump trucks or smaller.

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm; Saturday, 8:00am to 3:30pm. The site accepts clean dirt Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 10:00am.
