Provider: WEST LOS ANGELES COLLEGE - COMMUNITY SERVICES - WESTSIDE EXTENSION
The college provides post-secondary and community education for people who live in West Los Angeles. Services include adult education, vocational education, and recreational/leisure arts instruction. Classes are held at the main campus and at various community locations. There are no geographic restrictions.
A variety of low-cost, non-credit classes, workshops and seminars are offered for adults in the areas of professional development, personal development, business, languages, computers, arts and crafts. Certificate programs are available in medical coding and billing, pharmacy technician, makeup artistry. The program will work with EDD, the Department of Rehabilitation, and other private sources.
There are also classes and camps for children.
