Cultural Transition Facilitation

The agency provides refugee services to families who are immigrants or refugees and live in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Services include cultural transition facilitation and immigrant resettlement services. There are no geographic restrictions.

The agency provides the Family Mentoring Program which pairs local volunteers with newly arrived refugee/immigrant families to provide support for their resettlement. The mentors provide a support system which allows the family to integrate into their community. The program helps families with financial literacy, housing, employment, English conversation practice, basic needs and to properly enroll their children in school. The program helps the families become acquainted with their new community but also allows the community to learn about the refugee/immigrant families.
