Business Registration/Licensing
Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY TREASURER AND TAX COLLECTOR - BUSINESS LICENSE SECTION
The department issues licenses for businesses operating in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County and contracting cities of Santa Clarita, Westlake Village and Malibu. Services are restricted to the cities of Malibu, Santa Clarita and Westlake Village and the unincorporated areas of L A County.
Not all business activities require a Business licensed from the County. Generally, businesses that are subject to the County's health and safety regulations required a license. This includes but is not limited to carnivals, health spas, hotels, massage parlors, tattoo parlors and restaurants.
