The program provides information and referral on adult education for adults 60 years and older throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District. The administrative office listed above provides information about the variety of classes which are available. The program is designed to offer lifelong education which provides opportunities for personal growth and development, community involvement, and for the development of skills which are needed for self-maintenance and self-sufficiency.

The classes focus on a variety of concerns older adults may have including nutrition and exercise; financial management; memory enhancement; fine and applied arts, including literature, music and art; personal development; computer technology; and personal and community safety. LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH Staff are available in the administrative office who speak Spanish and English. Classes are available which are taught in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish.
