Sexual Assault Counseling
Provider: CHILDREN'S CENTER OF THE ANTELOPE VALLEY , THE
The agency provides child abuse services for children ages birth to 18 and their caregiver who live in the Antelope Valley. Services include counseling for sexually-abused children and their non-offending family members, child abuse prevention, and a family preservation program. Transportation to and from the center may be provided through the Client Transportation Assistance Program. Age restrictions apply for some services; there are geographic restrictions.
Services include counseling for sexually-abused children and their non-offending family members; psychiatric services; and school-based therapy in certain areas.
The agency also offers relative support services (kinship) by providing an assessment of the Kinship caregiver's needs to keep the child in the home and referrals to community services.
