The office coordinates the policies and regulations in accordance with California Adult Use of Marijuana Act for unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County as directed by the Board of Supervisors.
Services include business application review, permit distribution, the maintenance of commercial zoning and regulation of personal cultivation. Informational resources about consumer health and safety are also available through the agency's website.
The department accepts complaints against licensed or unlicensed commercial cannabis activity in Los Angeles County.
