The program provides family support for families with children who are being treated for serious illnesses in local hospitals in Los Angeles County. Services include patient/family housing. There are no geographic restrictions.
The facility has 23 private guest rooms and a community kitchen, TV area and children's playroom. Shared computers with internet access and complimentary laundry facilities are available. Home cooked meals and help with transportation to and from local area hospitals are also provided on most days. Staff are available on-site, 24 hours per day.
The program also provides health/disability related volunteer opportunities for individuals age 16 and older.
