Neighborhood Watch Programs

The department provides law enforcement services for the city of Alhambra. Services include abandoned vehicle reporting, crime prevention, emergency protective orders, law enforcement complaints, municipal police, neighborhood watch programs, police reports and temporary restraining orders services. The service area is restricted to the city of Alhambra.

Temporary restraining order assistance is on a short term (72 hrs.), emergency basis only. Regular TROs must be applied for at a Superior Court location. Police reports may be requested beginning five business days after the complaint was filed and should be requested from the police station five days in advance of need.

The department provides crime prevention through community education presentations and technical assistance. It assists residents in organizing neighborhood watch programs.
