Ongoing Emergency Food Assistance

Provider: SHEPHERD'S PANTRY

  The agency provides emergency food for people who live in the San Gabriel Valley area, including people who are homeless and undocumented. Services include ongoing emergency food assistance, formula/baby food and pet food. There are no geographic restrictions. 

  The agency provides 4 to 5 bags of food which will last for a week or more. People can receive emergency food three times per month. Smaller bags of food are distributed to homeless individuals on specific days. Baby food, formula and pet food for dogs and cats are also provided when available.

Application Procedure
Call for information. Recipients must be Los Angeles County residents. California ID for head of household; birth certificates, immunization cards or social security cards for all children are required. If head of household does not have an ID, two month's rent receipts or utility bills are required.
