The school readiness program prepares children, age 0 to 5, to succeed in school. Services are restricted to zip code 90706. Geographic restrictions apply.
The program provides Mommy & Me classes; parenting support services including a home visitation program using the Parents as Teachers curriculum; intensive intervention for children identified as special needs; a visitation day for all community preschoolers and parents to a kindergarten class; and referrals and linkage to health insurance enrollment programs as well as to medical, dental, and vision service providers.
