Provider: LONG BEACH CITY COLLEGE - LIBERAL ARTS CAMPUS

This campus of Long Beach City College offers two-year occupational or academic transfer courses for Long Beach area residents who are age 18 or older or who have a high school diploma. The campus also offers a Child Development Center, see the separate entry. Specialized services include an English skills center, services for students who have disabilities, and a center for learning assistance. Support services include academic, career, and personal counseling; financial assistance; health services; and job placement assistance.

The English skills center offers instruction to sharpen writing, reading, vocabulary, punctuation, and spelling. Specialized services for students who have disabilities include registration assistance, counseling, tutoring, and in-class assistance. The center for learning assistance provide instruction, tutoring workshops, and supplemental media materials to help improve students' learning skills.

Call or walk in for information. People who are interested in attending the college may obtain all the necessary information and enrollment forms at the Admissions and Records Office on campus.
Fees
Fees include an enrollment fee, tuition, a materials fee, an Associated Student Body membership fee, and an optional parking fee. Grants, loans, scholarships, and part-time employment are available for eligible students.
