HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Medication
Provider: LOS ANGELES COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH - CURTIS R. TUCKER PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER
The program provides basic public health care services to people in Los Angeles County. Services include childhood immunizations, public health nursing, examination and treatment of tuberculosis and testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Health education programs and wellness programs are also available. There are no geographic restrictions.
STD services include screening and treatment, as well as HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis medication (PrEP) and Post Exposure Prophylaxis medication (PEP).
The testing and treatment for Tuberculosis is not provided for employment purposes.

Application Procedure
Call or walk in to apply. The nurse only clinic accepts a limited number of walk-ins per day. Limited same-day appointments may be available for PrEP and PEP services.
Fees
Fees vary; Medi-Cal and Medicare are accepted. There is a $15 vaccine administration fee per patient for each visit to the Nurse Only Clinic and $30 for families of two or more; there are no fees for Medi-Cal patients.
