Home Delivered Meals
Provider: CITY OF NORWALK - SOCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
The program provides nutrition programs for adults age 60 and older who live in Norwalk. Services include congregate meals and home delivered meals. Age restrictions apply to all senior services.
The congregate meals are served hot daily for people who are age 60 years and older. The Norwalk van service is available for Norwalk seniors who wish to come to the facility for the meal program.
The home delivered meal service (Meals on Wheel) for seniors 60 years and older whose ability to leave home is limited and who are unable to shop or cook for themselves is provided by the City of Norwalk Social Services Department and Los Angeles County AAA. The meals are delivered weekdays and include a hot meal.
