The center provides public health services which include the treatment and control of communicable diseases to assist in disease prevention for people of all ages in the Torrance area. Services include childhood immunizations, disease/disability specific screening/diagnosis, health education, immunizations, public clinics, tuberculosis screening and tuberculosis clinics. There are no geographic restrictions.
Public health centers do not provide general medical care.
A nurse only clinic provides immunizations including childhood immunizations, and Covid-19 vaccines, flu vaccines and Monkeypox vaccines for adults and children. Monkeypox testing and treatment is also available.
