FINDING FRIENDS & FAMILY

CURFEW
As of January 9th, a curfew from 6:00pm to 6:00am is imposed in any "Evacuation Order Zone" or any "Evacuation Warning Zone".
The order shall not apply to residents living within an evacuation warning zone, who are traveling to or from their places of residence.

CITY OF PASADENA:
The City of Pasadena is providing free sandbags for residents in and around the burn area. Proof of residency is required; 10 sandbags per resident while supplies last. No contractors permitted.

CHILDCARE RESOURCES
All YMCA locations are offering free childcare for children of first responders, essential workers and children of families who were displaced, evacuated, or lost property, or cannot attend school because their school has temporarily closed. Children must be at least 4 years and 9 months and must be in grades TK through 8th. Space is limited; visit YMCA Childcare for information and to register.
FAMILY SOURCE CENTERS
City of Los Angeles Community Investment for Families (CIFD) Family Source Emergency Assistance Centers are open and available to support families in the surrounding communities with emergency assistance, including those impacted by the California wildfires. These centers are open and available to assist families with necessities and community resources, there are no income eligibility requirements.

World Central Kitchen (WCK) is serving free meals to those affected, including first responders in Southern California in response to the multiple active wildfires. Visit WCK for the locations and times.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved a temporary waiver allowing CalFresh participants in Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Ventura Counties to buy hot foods using their benefits through February 8, 2025. Normally, most recipients cannot purchase hot foods using Calfresh benefits.
PET CARE & INFORMATION
Petco is offering a free locator service to families whose pets are missing as a result of the fires. If you have lost or found a pet, sign up online for Petco Love Lost.
CAMP has activated an emergency mobile clinic effort to provide free veterinary care to impacted pets displaced by the LA wildfires. To book an appointment call (310)574-5555.

Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control has released a database of deceased animals for residents impacted by the Eaton Fire who evacuated from the Altadena areas.

Business Contracts:
211LA does currently offer a path for businesses to offer goods and services in response to the wildfires. In addition to reaching out to the City Hall in the area you would like to contract with, you may check the LA County Department of Internal Services page for information about becoming a vendor.
Dog Fosters:
Dogs Without Borders needs long-term fosters (more than 2 weeks) to free up space for the Humane Society and local shelters to serve folks with pets who need a place for their pets. Visit Dogs Without Borders for an application.
