Rent Payment Assistance (AIDS/HIV)
Provider: BIENESTAR HUMAN SERVICES - POMONA OFFICE
Housing Opportunities for People living With AIDS (HOPWA) is a short-term program that provides housing expense assistance and intervention to help maintain a stable living environment and improve access to health care or other support. This is provided through two main programs: Permanent Housing Placement Grant and Short Term Rent Mortgage and Utilities. These programs assist clients who are not able to pay their rent and/or utilities because of health complications related to their HIV/AIDS diagnosis. The agency also provides referrals to emergency and transitional housing programs. There are no geographic restrictions.
