School Readiness Programs

The school readiness program targets families with children 0 to 5 years of age who live in zip codes 91343, 91402 and 91405. Geographic restrictions apply.
Services may include monthly home visits from a child development specialist, enrichment programs for the child, referrals to community resources, case management, weekly Mommy/Daddy and Me classes, health insurance enrollment and a variety of parenting skills and school readiness workshops.
Parenting skills development is provided through the Parents as Teachers (PAT) program. The program includes home visit, handouts, training videos and hands-on activities and child development information. Children who are enrolled in the PAT program also receive a yearly vision and hearing assessment.
