Sober Living Homes

The agency provides sober living for single men recovering from alcohol use disorder and drug use disorder age 18 years and older in the San Fernando Valley. Service includes sober living homes for recovering alcohol and drug use disorders. Applicants must be clean and sober for at least three months. Services are restricted to San Fernando Valley residents. 

Residents of the program are accommodated in a house with four shared rooms. Services includes case management, 12 step recovery meetings, life skills training, job development training, tutoring services for children, housing placement linkages, domestic violence education, substance use disorder education, and drug relapse prevention. The average length of stay is 12 months. Referrals for secondary services are provided, as needed. 

The program also enlists the help of rescue dogs so residents can experience unconditional love and learn responsibility. 

The program serves homeless men and women. Residents share a room. Capacity is 12 men and 12 women. Amenities include bedding and linen; showers and laundry; and kitchen area. Residents follow house rules and regulations and have a 11pm curfew. Residents must actively pursue employment or school. The maximum stay is 2 years. Residents are offered referrals for case management, counseling and benefits advocacy.
