The agency provides emergency food for low-income individuals and families, regardless of immigration status, who live in zip codes 90001, 90002, 90003, 90011, 90037, 90044, 90059 and 90061. Services include ongoing emergency food. Age restrictions apply for some services; there are geographic restrictions.
A typical bag of food may include dry boxed goods and canned goods. The amount varies with family size; food is available once per month.

Application Procedure
Call or walk in for service. ID is required for adults; birth certificates, Benefit Identification Cards (BIC), or Consular ID's are accepted. Proof of income and proof of residence is required. SSI or SSDI letters are accepted as proof of income; CalWORKs and General Relief benefit letters are also accepted, but must be dated within 30 days.
Clients that are homeless or not in possession of their ID or address are still welcome.
