The frequency of street sweeping has been reduced due to the financial crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting Citywide hiring freeze. Routes that had received weekly sweeping will now be swept biweekly, meaning on either the first and third weeks of the month or the second and fourth weeks of the month.
