Behavior Modification (Youth)

Provider: HILLSIDES FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER BALDWIN PARK

The agency provides special education services for youth in grades K through 12, with emotional or learning disabilities. The program serves children with special needs that include emotional disturbance (ED), a learning disability (LD) like attention deficit disorder, or other health impairments (OHI). Services include a private special school for youth who have experienced sexual, physical or emotional abuse and cannot attend public school. Children attend the on-grounds school with other children who are residents of the agency's residential treatment program. There are no geographic restrictions; however most children reside in Glendale and Pasadena school districts or in San Gabriel Valley schools of the County Office of Education.

Medi-Cal eligible youth, 0 to 18 years of age, may receive developmental assessment services and behavior modification therapy through the CHDP program.
