Robert has over 29 years of IT experience almost 20 of which are in banking. He is currently the First Vice President Head of Enterprise Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for East West Bank in San Marino. His responsibilities include leading teams in enterprise-wide preparation for any event causing business disruption, man-made or inclement weather related.
Some highlights of Robert’s career include: building an effective and productive IT team, leading his team to implement an entire network infrastructure and complete virtualization and storage area network, and install CISCO IP Phone system for over 19 regional locations and over 1200 users. He was also previously responsible for over 40 world-wide data centers for j2Global; a supervisor and lead technician for The San Gabriel Valley Tribune, System Analyst and Community Bank as VP for Walt Disney Televisión Finance and Production, and a Manager for Network Systems.
Robert has been on the 211 LA Board of Directors since 2011, and supports 211 LA in maintaining services during natural and public health disasters when we serve as LA County’s disaster information and referral line.
