Utility Assistance

The agency provides utility bill assistance for older adults and families who live in the city of Claremont or have children enrolled in the Claremont Unified School District. Services include utility assistance. Geographic restrictions apply.
Utility assistance is available on a situational basis through the city's Emergency Utility Relief Program Fund. Assistance is typically $200 or less and can be used for gas, electricity (Edison), and water bills that are at risk of being shut off.
The program may also provide limited financial assistance in the form of rent payment matching. Funds are donated by the community and administered by the City. Geographic restrictions apply and may be limited based on funds availability.
