Congregate Meals/Nutrition Sites

Provider: CITY OF CLAREMONT - HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT - JOSLYN CENTER

The program provides nutrition programs for adults, 60 years and older. Services include a brown bag program and a congregate meal. There are age and income restrictions for some programs; there are no geographic restrictions.

The congregate meal program is provided from two locations, the Joslyn Center and the Blaisdell Community Center. The program provides a hot, nutritious meal Monday through Friday, and also provides special holiday celebrations for seniors.

The brown bag program provides a bag of groceries one time per month from the L A Regional Food Bank and the Inland Valley Hope Partners Food Pantry is two days a week. To qualify, seniors must meet low income guidelines and be registered with the respective agency.
