The program provides services for children with developmental disabilties, from birth through 5 years of age; and support for parents and families of high risk special needs children. Service includes early intervention for infants/toddlers with disabilities. The program targets low-income families living in Central and South Central Los Angeles.

The program is part of a collaborative effort to identify and provide therapeutic services to special needs children and improve developmental outcomes of high risk children. The program services include home-based intervention and education for postpartum adolescent mothers; center based Mommy & Me classes on child development; and a classroom based literacy program. Support services also include integrated health services such as medical, dental and mental health services for children, parents and extended family.
