School Clothing (Elementary School Students)

The program provides personal goods, including school uniforms (blue and white) and shoes for children who attend elementary schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). A school referral is required for service. LAUSD personnel must bring the children to the agency's location to receive assistance.

The complete list of goods received by the children includes school uniforms (blue and white), shoes, socks, a jacket, a backpack, a personal grooming kit, a book, a toy and school supplies.

The mobile unit, OSB On Wheels, travels to school sites throughout LAUSD during the school year.

Application Procedure
A referral is required. Referrals are only accepted from LAUSD personnel - no exceptions. LAUSD schools arrange appointments for children with the agency and provide intake assessments. Referrals must be signed by a school principal, nurse or counselor; a school official must accompany children to their appointment; parents cannot schedule or bring the children to an appointment.
