The Emergency Network Los Angeles (ENLA) is a coalition of community-based organizations, government and for-profit entities concerned with disaster planning, preparation, relief and recovery. ENLA's functions are communications among its members and between its members and government, planning, training, and meeting unmet post-disaster needs. ENLA serves Los Angeles County.
ENLA is the local Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) organization for Los Angeles County. It is an affiliate of the Southern California VOAD which, in turn is an affiliate of National VOAD. Only nonprofit organizations can be full, voting members. Government and for-profit entities may be associate, non-voting members. LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH Spanish; various other languages are also available.
