Specialized Information and Referral

The association provides health services for people of all ages in Los Angeles County. Services include disease/disability information about eating disorders, which include anorexia nervosa, bulimia, and binge eating disorder; specialized information and referral; printed materials and public awareness/education and research funds. There are no geographic restrictions.

The association's programs include information on eating disorders, and treatment options (treatment centers, physicians, nutritionists and counselors that specialize in treating eating disorders). The information and treatment option helpline provides a range of options for support, treatment and recovery. NEDA also distributes educational materials about eating disorders, funds research programs and organizes regional conferences.
