The agency's Sidewalk Vending Program issues street vending permits for both food and merchandise in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. The program provides educational workshops, permit registration for a Sidewalk Vending Registration Certificate (SVRC), technical assistance, low cost vending carts, and resources including legal aid and financial assistance.

The $100 permit fee is waived for the first year and is due each following year.
