Speakers/Speakers Bureaus (Public Health Issues)

The Health Education Administration Speaker's bureau provides community public health education for Los Angeles County residents from high school age and older. Services include speakers/speakers bureaus. There are no geographic restrictions; presentations may be made in all county Service Planning Areas (SPAs). 

Professional Public Health Nurses and Health Educators respond to requests from community groups and schools.

Speakers Bureau topics include: Asthma, Cardiovascular Disease, Cholesterol, Climate Change, Diabetes, Emergency Preparedness, Falls Prevention, Flu, High Blood Pressure, Measles, Meningitis, Nutrition, Oral Health, Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Public Health 101, Tuberculosis, West Nile Virus, Zika Virus and more.
