The program provides health services for people of all ages throughout the United States. Services include disease/disability information about HIV infections, AIDS, and STDs; and medical information lines for sexually transmitted disease. There are no geographic restrictions.

Staff provide information about prevention, transmission, symptoms, and treatment. Referrals for testing and treatment are provided. The program also provides printed materials and maintains a website with information about HIV/AIDS and STDs.

ASHA offers Person2Person, a premium service where you can speak with ASHA staff and get questions answered by phone or chat with no wait. It also offers Ask the Experts, where you can ask questions online that are answered directly by health professionals who specialize in sexually transmitted infections/sexually transmitted diseases and sexual health.
