The program provides intensive counseling and supportive services to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, children with emotional/behavioral issues, and other individuals in need. Counseling services are provided by mental health professionals in training working under a licensed supervisor. The program also offers parenting classes and ongoing Domestic Violence Support groups for the community.
Case Management
Case management services provide clients the supports needed to navigate services: mental health services, counseling, legal services, immigration and citizen assistance, job development, housing assistance, personal financial management workshops, parenting education, information and referral to community resources, and transportation assistance.
CalWORKs
The agency's CalWORKs program provides support to victims of domestic violence and their children who do not have enough money for their basic needs because a parent is unemployed, disabled, not around to care for the children, in jail, has passed away, etc. The person who takes care of the children may not be able to afford to pay for the family's food, rent, clothing, and other basic living expenses. Case management services include job development, legal, and mental health services to obtain employment and live independently.

Serving residents of Los Angeles County, the program promotes safety, dignity, and empowerment through crisis intervention, case management, and financial advocacy. In addition to direct services, the program offers prevention-focused education, outreach, and training for individuals, caregivers, service providers, and community agencies to raise awareness, build protective factors, and reduce the risk of abuse before it occurs. Eligibility: elders age 60+ and dependent adults ages 18-59 with physical, cognitive, or emotional limitations.
