Employment (Firefighters)
The agency provides employment services for firefighters and individuals who wish to become firefighters in Los Angeles County. Services include employment. There are no geographic restrictions.
The agency accepts open applications for Fire Fighter 1 positions from November 1 to January 31 every year. Positions are filled usually between April and June. Fire Fighter 1 positions are temporary and seasonal.

Application Procedure
Applications for fire stations in San Bernardino County must be submitted in person at each unit the individual would like to apply to. A list of units can be found on the website at: http://calfire.ca.gov/ under 'Career.'
Fees
There are no fees for service.
