The program provides community services for people who live in South Los Angeles. Services include community action/social advocacy groups. Geographic restrictions apply.
The agency conducts environmental justice work related to asthma, family health relative to sub- standard housing, and the health impacts of oil and natural gas extraction activities in residential communities.
The agency also conducts training and certification of Promotores de Salud, or Community Health Worker Training Program. Members of the community are encouraged to apply if they have an interest in the health of their families and of their neighbors.
