Crime Victim/Witness Counseling

The agency provides counseling services for low income people of all ages who are victims of crime and live in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, including undocumented individuals. Services include crime victim/witness counseling. Services are targeted but not restricted to the Spanish-speaking community. There are no geographic restrictions.

Counseling may be individual, family or in a group setting. It may be provided in the office or in the home. The agency can assist victims with paper work for the California Victims of Crime Program. The types of crimes include, but not limited to domestic violence; drunk driving; robbery; hate crimes; child abuse; elderly abuse; sexual assault or rape; homicide and vehicle manslaughter.
For undocumented victims the agency provides psychological evaluations for U VISA's or VAWA. It also provides professional reports for immigration and other legal services.
The agency also provides referrals to community-based organizations.
