Computer Distribution Programs (Agencies/Organizations as Recipients)

The agency provides technology services for low income people of all ages, and to nonprofit or charitable agencies in Los Angeles County. Services include computer distribution programs for low-income individuals and families and nonprofit agencies/organizations as recipients; and discounted internet service for eligible low income people. Age and income restrictions apply for some services; there are no geographic restrictions.

Low cost computers may be available to eligible low-income households who meet income guidelines or currently receive free school lunches or public benefits, veterans with a DD-214 form, or disabled individuals who receive social security or supplemental security income (SSI). Computers are also available for nonprofit or IRS designated charities, and not-for-profit schools. Computers come with a one-year warranty and technical support.

The program provides information about subsidized internet packages that may be available to individuals, and facilitates subscription depending on income and geographic location.
