Day Camps (Youth)
Provider: CAMP FIRE LONG BEACH
The organization provides youth services which offers a wide variety of recreational and character-building activities and experiences for young people from kindergarten age through 18. This council serves youth who live in Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Hawaiian Gardens, Lakewood, Long Beach and Signal Hill; and provides services to Camp Fire groups in the Orange County area.
The program provides activities that teach problem-solving, decision making, exploring careers and hobbies, and participating in community service. Youth participate in activities with their own club and in council-wide programs. Leadership programs, camping opportunities and field trips are also offered.
