Delousing/Body Parasite Treatment

The mission provides homeless support services for people in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles. Services include bathing facilities, delousing, haircuts and mail service. There are no geographic restrictions.

Shower facilities are available for men as needed. The shower facility serves men and women. Haircuts for men, women and children are offered five days per week; a beautician for women is available until 12:00 noon.

Mail service is provided for anyone who wants to receive mail at the agency. This service is primarily for people who are homeless and have no mailing address but may be used by others who have proper identification and need a place to have their mail sent. Mail is distributed at a special window in the mission's office Monday through Friday. People who use this service read a list that is posted daily near the window. The list includes the names of those who received mail that day. Lists are posted from previous days and after 10 days, unclaimed mail is returned to the sender.

The mission recruits, trains, and utilizes volunteers to assist in providing supportive services to people who are homeless.
