Ongoing Emergency Food Assistance

The program provides emergency food for low-income residents in the greater Pasadena and Altadena areas. Applicants must meet federal low-income guidelines. Assistance may be provided on an ongoing basis. Services are restricted to Alhambra, Altadena, Pasadena, Sierra Madre, La Canada-Flintridge, La Crescenta, San Gabriel, San Marino and South Pasadena residents.

  The program provides supplemental groceries consisting of shelf stable foods, fresh fruits and vegetables; bread; meat and protein foods and other foods when available. Infant formula and baby food may also be available.

Application Procedure
Walk in to apply. For first-time applicants, proof of income and ID for head of household and ID for all family members are required. If a person does not have one or more of these requirements, they will not be turned away to receive food that day.
