Provider: YMCA OF METROPOLITAN LOS ANGELES - WEINGART EAST LOS ANGELES YMCA
The program provides a preschool for children age 4 who reach that age before December 1. The program operates at the Sunrise Elementary school. There are two sessions, morning or afternoon. The program prepares children for kindergarten through activities to enhance their ability to problem-solve, create and to interact in different social situations. Low income families may apply; membership in the Y is not required.
The Weingart ELA YMCA also provides drop in child care at the Child Activity Center for members using the Y facilities. This is an ancillary service for members.
