Travel Training for Older Adults/People With Disabilities

The agency provides transportation services for people who have disabilities and are unable to use regular public bus and train service. Services include disability related transportation for eligible people and travel training for older adults/people with disabilities. Geographic restrictions apply.

Curb to curb group service is available through special equipped vans and taxis for medical appointments, shopping and other activities. The service area is any area 3/4 of a mile or more from a fixed bus route and 3/4 mile or more to a Metrorail station in the Los Angeles area. The agency provides advanced and subscription services.

The agency also provides information and referral service through the mobility management department, providing referrals for paratransit agencies throughout Los Angeles County. Travel training for eligible individuals is provided through a contract with Mobility Management Partners.
